The Brandon FC/BAYSL Classic Soccer Program is a recreational soccer program that began in 1975. Teams are coached by a volunteer coach under the supervision of the director for the classic soccer program. These teams will play 8-10 games per season. The U5-U12 age groups will play in-house games on the weekend and U12 and above age groups will play in the Tampa Area Recreation Soccer Association (TARSA) league. All 4-7 year old players enter the Brandon FC Classic Soccer program in the U5-U7 ages. When a player reaches the U8 age, they have the option of staying in the Classic Soccer Program or joining the Brandon FC Elite Program (competitive soccer). We acknowledge competitive soccer may not be the best fit for all players for a variety of reasons ranging from physical abilities, time commitment issues, family conflicts, dual sport obligations, or financial concerns. The Classic Soccer Program offers a solid opportunity for players to continue to develop their skills and compete on their team in a setting they prefer that matches their level and interest.

The Fall Classic season for player 4 thru 12 is hosted at our Heather Lakes Complex that is three miles from our JC Handly Complex. It begins September 17th and runs through November 5th. It is an eight game season for the developing player. The fee for Fall Classic is $85 per season. Teams practice one night a week and play on the weekend. Players are provided a uniform jersey.
The Winter Classic season for players 4 thru 12 is the main Classic program season consisting of 10 games that begins in December and runs through the second week of March. Each player will receive entire uniform package consisting of team jersey, soccer shorts, and soccer socks. All games are hosted at the main BAYSL facility located at JC Handly Complex. The fees for Winter Classic are $115 for U5-U8, $130 for U9-U12. Teams practice two nights a week (U5&U6 practice once a week on Fridays) and play on the weekend.
The Senior Classic Recreational League for players 12 thru 19. These participants will compete in a 10 week season from early December thru mid March. This league is coordinated with other local clubs and involves minimal travel within the Tampa Bay area. The fee for Senior Classic is $200 per season. Players will receive an entire uniform package consisting of two Adidas jerseys, Adidas soccer shorts, and Adidas soccer socks. These teams will train twice a week at our Heather Lakes Complex and will experience professional training from our staff. Senior Classic teams host the annual Adidas Brandon Cup.
The Spring Classic season for players 4 thru 19 is designed as a small sided league to promote skills and touches on a smaller playing area. This highly popular approach among Brandon players is an eight week season played at the BAYSL complex at JC Handly Park. Teams may train once a week with games on Saturday. Each player will be provided a uniform jersey.

All participants in BAYSL soccer programs are required to pay a $20.00 refundable volunteer fee. The fee is refundable upon completion of 2 hours of volunteer time anytime the player is registered thru the end of the season.
