BAYSL Sponsorship Program

Dear Community Business Leader:

Please allow me to introduce you to the Brandon Area Youth Soccer League (BAYSL), recently ranked as one of the top soccer clubs in the State of Florida. Last year, BAYSL registered about 1900 players in our soccer programs, with 30 competitive teams, 116 recreational teams, 22 TARSA recreational teams, 12 adult teams, and 80 TOPSoccer players.

In August 2011, we will begin training for our upcoming fall/winter recreational season. Once again, we are looking for sponsors for each of our recreational teams, as well as select team sponsors; opportunities to help with scholarships, signage advertising only, and field sponsorships are now possible. Sponsors are vital to the program’s economic health and the reason our fees are as low as they are.

Being a BAYSL sponsor will give your business major exposure as the fields are always busy –
practices are nightly, and all the recreational and select team games on weekends draw a huge
amount of traffic to the fields. All will be listed on web and be part of at least one email
blast with sponsor name, business description, and contact info; a link will be made directly
to the sponsor’s website if applicable.

Here are the different levels of sponsorships available:

1. Select Teams - a business can sponsor an individual but gets nothing in return and no
advertising from BAYSL; for advertising and promotions a business can sponsor only teams
and/or tournament play; if they want a sign a minimum is needed for the following:

      a) $550 - gets large sign on field; BAYSL gets $300 of this for sign production, etc.

      b) $750 - tournament sponsor and also gets large sign on field and advertising in
tournament promotion

3. Signage only - $550 large sign to go on fencing around the fields

4.  Scholarships - goes into general fund to help families so all who qualify can have their
child play - any size donation appreciated but suggest $100 on up; anything over $550 to get
large sign

5. Donations in Kind - if a business donates goods with a value between $250 - $500, they will
get a logo on the website for advertising; If a business donates a value over $750 they get a
large field sign. It will be important for members involved in concessions, photographers, etc.
to let me know if gift in kind donations are made.

All these sponsors, as noted earlier, will be listed on the web and part of at least one email
blast. We will make every attempt to make sure that in future fliers, etc we list sponsors.

If you are unable to be a sponsor for any of the above levels and would still like to contribute to BAYSL, we will accept any donation amount. In appreciation, we would be happy to add you to our list of contributors on the BAYSL website.

Please join in partnership with BAYSL and the fastest growing sport in America! What a wonderful way to invest in the children of our community. The success of our program is greatly dependent upon contributions from community business leaders like you. If you have a particular team or child you would like to include on your sponsored team, it is imperative that you indicate the team, player or coach name on the Sponsor Contribution Form and your sponsorship information is turned in by August 1, 2010. We will strive to accommodate every request, but have tight deadlines for ordering uniforms.

Sponsorships are processed on a first come, first served basis so act now. All contributions are tax deductible since BAYSL is a 501 (c)(3) organization. Checks should be made payable to BAYSL. Please complete the enclosed BAYSL Sponsor Contribution Form.
