The Brandon Area Youth Soccer League is proud to announce that we have entered into a partnering agreement with the FC Tampa Bay Rowdies, which is called the Supporter Club Program. Our club has a long tradition in the Tampa Bay soccer community, as our club was established in 1975. This is an outstanding opportunity to help us celebrate our soccer club’s 35th year of serving the local community. th home opener and running all the way through Friday, October 1st.

In the same year that our club was established, the original Tampa Bay Rowdies played their inaugural year in the North American Soccer League. It was quite a successful debut for the Rowdies as they won the North American Soccer League Championship for the 1975 season.

The FC Tampa Bay Rowdies are now in the newly formed North American Soccer League and they defeated Crystal Palace Baltimore in their opening game of the season, 1-0. The Rowdies will be playing 15 regular season home games at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, beginning with their May 8

Our club is extremely excited to have entered into this partnership with the Rowdies, and we feel that this is a great opportunity for the local soccer community to embrace the passion of the World’s beautiful game. We feel that the game itself is the best teacher, in addition to cultivating the true passion of the game.

FC Tampa Bay Rowdies Fundraising Program

This is a tremendous opportunity and we look forward to this partnership agreement with the Rowdies. We will have 16 VIP tickets that will be awarded to various Brandon Area Youth Soccer League teams, coaches, and volunteers for every Rowdies home game this season.

In addition to the VIP tickets, we will also have two special Brandon Area Youth Soccer nights that will be designated for future Rowdies home games. The club will offer tickets at a discounted rate to our entire club and the Rowdies will in turn give a portion of those proceeds back to BAYSL as a fundraising contribution.

The FC Tampa Bay Rowdies will be providing two separate clinics at our BAYSL complex, featuring Rowdies players. These clinics will be offered to a predetermined selection of BAYSL players and the Rowdies players will be available following the clinic to sign autographs for everyone.

We will receive recognition on the Rowdies web site with a direct link to our BAYSL home page, and we will prominently display an FC Tampa Bay banner at our club. We will be sending out detailed information in the coming weeks pertaining to ticket availability, player clinics and autograph opportunities.
