Rowdies Visit Brandon FC

Two professional players for the FC Tampa Bay Rowdies stopped by Brandon FC for a visit during Preseason Camp week. Drew Yates and JJ Adjeman Pamboe interacted with players and signed autographs for the Brandon FC members and families. Brandon FC has an exciting partnership with FC Tampa Bay and is proud to support professional soccer in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. 

JJ’s Bio:
Kwame “JJ” Adjeman-Pamboe is an American forward who most recently played for FC Viikingit in the Finnish First Division making nine appearances and scoring four goals.
JJ began his college soccer career in 2005 at St. Francis University in Pennsylvania, scoring eight goals in two seasons with the Red Flash. He then transferred to George Mason University where he played during the 2007 and 2008 season playing in 38 games and scoring 11 goals. While at George Mason, JJ received top honors including the most outstanding player at the CAA Men's Soccer Championship, CAA All-Tournament Team selection, First-Team NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region selection and First-Team All-CAA selection.
In 2008, the Colorado Rapids selected JJ in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft.

Played in 16 games (all but at Miami and vs. Montreal) with eight starts (at St. Louis, vs. Minnesota, vs. Puerto Rico: 5/29, at Vancouver, at Portland, vs. Miami, vs. Puerto Rico: 7/15, and vs. Rochester)... His 12 shots are tied for fourth-most on team… Assisted on the winning goal during the 2-1 game against Carolina on May 14th... Scored first professional goal at St. Louis (5/22) in the 64th minute.
 
 
Drew Yates Bio:
 
Yates attended Maryland for four years and played in all 92 games of the Terps four seasons, including the 2008 NCAA National Championship.  He ended his career at Maryland scoring 14 goals and having 13 assists, totaling 47 points for the squad. As a Terp, Yates received numerous honors including ACC All-Academic selection, Second Team All-Atlantic South Region selection and Second Team All-ACC selection.
Yates began his soccer career in high school playing for Curley High for two seasons and later attended the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in 2005. He then continued his career at DeMatha High School where he helped lead the squad to a perfect 23-0 record and the WCAC title his senior year.  He was named the Washington Post Player of the Year and the Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year in 2006 and was a three-time NSCAA All-American.
