TAMPA, Fla. - The schedule for the 2011 United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League North American Finals began today as 135 teams representing some of the best young boys and girls talent will descend upon Tampa, Florida. The event is set for December 2-6 at the J.C. Handley Sports Complex and the Land O’Lakes Recreation Complex.
The Land O’Lakes Recreation Complex has served as a site for the finals for the past several years, while the J.C. Handley Sports Complex makes its debut as the main site for the annual event. The nine-field J.C. Handley Sports Complex recently underwent a multi-million dollar upgrade to become one of the preeminent soccer complexes in Florida.
The 2011 Super Y-League North American Finals will kick off at 9 a.m. on Friday, December 2 with group play, with the championship matches set for each age group on Tuesday, December 6.
